1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you use DocMaker, we process the prompts, pasted text, template selections, clarification answers, files, and other instructions you submit. We also process the documents and exports created from that content so we can provide the service.

Anonymous identity and usage information. DocMaker currently operates without user accounts. We store a randomly generated identifier in your browser and may process your IP address or a hashed representation of it to apply usage limits, prevent abuse, and keep requests associated with the correct anonymous workspace.

Technical information. We may collect information such as browser and device type, language, page path, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, request identifiers, error details, timestamps, and interactions with the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide document generation, clarification, revision, file processing, storage, and export features; maintain your anonymous workspace; enforce free-use limits; diagnose errors; secure the service; and improve product performance and usability.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your submitted document content for advertising.

3. AI and Service Providers

DocMaker relies on service providers to operate the product. These may include AI model providers that process prompts and document context, cloud infrastructure and object-storage providers that host service data and files, and rendering providers that create downloadable document formats.

We provide these providers only the information reasonably necessary for their role. Their processing is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Analytics, Cookies, and Abuse Prevention

We use Google Analytics to understand traffic and product usage. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process device, usage, and approximate location information according to Google's privacy practices.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on selected generation requests to distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical and interaction information needed to perform that verification according to Cloudflare's privacy practices.

DocMaker also uses browser storage and limited cookies for functions such as maintaining an anonymous identifier and remembering language preferences. You can control cookies and site storage through your browser, although clearing them may reset your anonymous workspace identity or affect service behavior.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with providers that host, secure, analyze, render, or supply AI functionality for DocMaker; when required to comply with law or protect users and the service; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.

We do not authorize service providers to use submitted document content for their own advertising purposes.

6. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain document and activity history, enforce usage and security controls, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Temporary upload sessions and generated download links may expire sooner than the underlying activity or document record.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should avoid submitting information that is not necessary for your document.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may control cookies and local storage through your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information associated with you. Because DocMaker currently uses an anonymous identifier rather than an account, we may need information from your browser or requests to verify and locate relevant data.

8. Children's Privacy

DocMaker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DocMaker changes. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date shown above. Your continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use of the service.
